Gelecek Medikal company was founded in 2011 as a research and development company at Istanbul Technical University Technopark. In its early years, the company focused on developing industrial production and tracking systems. In 2014, it manufactured a six-axis, lightweight, next-generation robotic arm used in advanced high-tech industrial manufacturing.
In 2016, the company started developing pre-analytical systems in the medical field. In 2017, it introduced Turkey's first automated tube barcoding system. Subsequently, it developed automated tube sorting and automated tube cap removal systems.
